Offensive Player of the Week: Katie Schoepfer, Penn State, F - Sr. - Waterford, Conn. – Waterford

Katie Schoepfer recorded just the 13th hat trick in Penn State history, and the first since 2005, in a 6-0 win over Illinois on Sunday. The senior forward notched seven points on the day, adding an assist to contribute to the Nittany Lions' first four goals in the contest.  The three strikes marked the first hat trick of Schoepfer's collegiate career and her seven points were a career high. The Waterford, Conn., native now leads the team in points (26) and goals (10) and is also tied for first with six assists this season. She has now notched at least one goal in each of her last seven outings, good enough to tie for the third-best streak in program history. This is the fifth weekly award for Schoepfer's career and her second of the season.

Defensive Player of the Week: Lauren Robertson, Ohio State, GK - Sr. - Mission Viejo, Calif. - Santa Margarita

Ohio State's Lauren Robertson recorded her third consecutive shutout in Sunday's pivotal conference showdown, helping the Buckeyes secure their 1-0 overtime victory over No. 18-ranked Purdue. The win preserved OSU's reign over the top spot in the conference standings with only two weeks remaining in regular season play. The blanking marked Robertson's 12th of the season, improving her overall tally to 29 to rank second all-time in Big Ten annals while padding her school season shutout record. This is the fourth weekly defensive laurel for Robertson in 2009.

Freshman of the Week: Haley Kopmeyer, Michigan, GK – RS-Fr. - Troy, Mich. – Lahser

Redshirt freshman Haley Kopmeyer matched the shutout record for a Michigan newcomer, nabbing five saves as the Wolverines battled to a 0-0 draw with Wisconsin on Sunday. The Troy, Mich., began the week with six saves in U-M's 1-1 tie with Minnesota on Friday, where she allowed one goal in the opening minute of competition before going on a 219 minute shutout streak. She then recorded her fifth shutout of the season against the Badgers, equaling Megan Tuura's mark for the program shutout record by a freshman goalkeeper. The Wolverine pair is also currently tied for sixth on the U-M single-season list. With the shutout, Kopmeyer's goals-against average dipped to 0.97, good enough to account for the fifth best by a Michigan goalkeeper all-time in games played to date. This is the second weekly freshman laurel for Michigan, both to Kopmeyer's credit.
