Kara Lentz's Bio: This former co-captain of the Michigan field hockey team played on three conference championship squads and in one NCAA Final Four before graduating in 2007. Assigned to cover field hockey for the Big Ten Network she follows many other sports. Raised in sports junkie family she played seven sports competitively and earned 15 varsity letters in high school. Zap her a question in the comments area about anything played on a field or court, in a pool, or with a ball, puck or basket.

Meet Tiffany Ofili
Jun 10 2009, 2:44 PM Topic: Michigan
Although Tiffany Ofili's races are a mere 100 meters, the senior hurdler's accolades are anything but short. The No. 10 Michigan women's track and field team commenced its campaign at the 2009 NCAA Championship Wednesday in Fayetteville, Ark. Ofili is not new to the national competition, as she has qualified every year since hurdling through Ann Arbor.

The Michigan native is the two-time defending national champion (2007, 2008) in the 100-meter hurdles and travels to Arkansas as the top-ranked athlete and Michigan's record holder in the event this season. Ofili, a senior co-captain, was recently selected as one of four finalists for the Honda Sports Award for Track and Field, Michigan's first in the sport. Majoring in Pharmacy, Ofili is a three-time Academic All-Big Ten and a 2008-2009 recipient of the Big Ten Medal of Honor.

She is joined by teammates Geena Gall, Casey Taylor, Bettie Wade, Emily Pendleton, and Danielle Tauro to represent the Maize and Blue and has high hopes for her final college race. Take a listen to my interview with Ofili:
