OFFENSE:
Daryll Clark, Penn State, SR, QB, Youngstown, Ohio/Ursuline

Clark led Penn State to its first win in Ann Arbor since 1996, connecting on 16-of-27 attempts for 230 yards and matching a career high with four touchdown passes in a 35-10 victory at Michigan. The senior quarterback completed 59.3 percent of his passes with no interceptions to help the Nittany Lions post 396 yards of total offense and their most points ever at Michigan Stadium. After the Wolverines took an early 7-0 lead, Clark led PSU on a four-play, 63-yard scoring drive, capped by a 10-yard toss to Graham Zug to knot the score at 7-7. He added a 60-yard touchdown pass to Andrew Quarless in the second quarter. After the hosts pulled within 19-10 at the half, Clark hit Zug for two more touchdowns in the third quarter to put the game out of reach. The Ohio native's four scoring strikes equal a career best set against Michigan State to end the 2008 regular season. He now has 17 touchdown passes this season to lead the Big Ten and rank third among all signal callers nationally. Clark garners his fourth career weekly accolade after being honored after the season opener on Sept. 6 and twice last season, on Oct. 13 and Nov. 24, 2008.

LAST PSU OFFENSIVE POW: QB Daryll Clark on Sept. 6, 2009

CO-DEFENSE:
Adrian Clayborn, Iowa, JR, DE, St. Louis, Mo./Webster Groves

Clayborn racked up three tackles for loss, including a pair of sacks, and forced a fumble to help Iowa remain unbeaten in a 15-13 victory at Michigan State. The junior defensive end registered four tackles, including three solo stops, while his three tackles for loss pushed the Spartans' offense back 21 yards. In the third quarter, the Missouri native forced a fumble and also helped the Hawkeyes' defense record three straight stops from the one-yard line to force a short field goal that gave the hosts a 6-3 advantage. Iowa would rally to build a 9-6 lead before MSU scored a touchdown in the closing minutes, only to see the visitors post a last-second score and the victory. The Hawkeyes' defense held Michigan State to 85 rushing yards and five-of-14 on third downs. Clayborn picks up his first weekly defensive laurel and the second weekly award of his career, after earning special teams honors earlier this season on Sept. 27.

LAST IOWA DEFENSIVE POW: LB Pat Angerer on Sept. 27, 2009

Thaddeus Gibson, Ohio State, JR, DE, Euclid, Ohio/Euclid
Gibson recorded a career-best three sacks and recovered a fumble to help Ohio State hold Minnesota to only a late touchdown in a 38-7 triumph. The junior defensive end collected six tackles, including five solo stops, and his three sacks pushed the Gophers' offense back 17 yards. After the Buckeyes took a 14-0 lead early in the second half, defensive lineman John Simon forced a fumble, which was recovered by Gibson at the visitor's 22-yard line. OSU scored on the ensuing possession to go up 21-0 on the way to the victory. Minnesota was held to 1-of-10 on third downs and 163 passing yards while suffering four sacks. Gibson collects the first weekly honor of his career.

LAST OSU DEFENSIVE POW: LB Ross Homan on Oct. 11, 2009

SPECIAL TEAMS:
Stefan Demos, Northwestern, JR, PK/P, Scottsdale, Ariz./Horizon

Demos booted his second game-winning field goal of the season, connecting from 19 yards with 21 seconds remaining to cap the biggest comeback in Northwestern history. The junior kicker connected on all of his attempts against Indiana, including three extra points and a 28-yard field goal to put the Wildcats on the board in the second quarter. The Hoosiers returned the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown to build a 28-3 advantage before the Wildcats rallied to within 28-26 in the fourth quarter. Northwestern went 65 yards on its final drive to the Indiana two-yard line, and Demos came on to drill the game winner from a sharp angle on the left hash. The Arizona native is now 11-of-12 on field goal attempts this year, with his only miss coming from a blocked kick. He earns special teams weekly laurels for the third time in his career, after being honored on Oct. 4, 2009, and Sept. 1, 2008.
