Three Football Games to Air on Big Ten Network on Nov. 22
Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Northwestern, Wisconsin to close regular season on network
CHICAGO – The Big Ten Network will televise three football games on Saturday, Nov. 22. The action begins at 3:30 PM ET with Illinois-Northwestern and Wisconsin-Cal Poly. At 7 PM ET, Minnesota hosts Iowa. All three games will be produced in high definition.
Fans can find the channel number for the games they want to see by entering their zip code and cable or satellite provider on this website: http://www.BigTenNetwork.com/GameFinder.
Most of the network's larger cable and both satellite affiliates offer "overflow" channels. For cable subscribers, the decision whether to air Big Ten Network "overflow" games is made by cable operators at the local level.
The Illini and the Wildcats will battle for the Sweet Sioux Tomahawk. Illinois won last year's contest in Champaign and leads the all-time series 52-44-5, but Northwestern has won four of the last five meetings.
The Badgers will wrap up their regular season with a non-conference home game against Cal Poly. It will be the first-ever meeting between the schools.
In front of a primetime national audience, Floyd of Rosedale will be on the line as Minnesota hosts Iowa. The Golden Gophers lead the all-time series 59-40-2. Minnesota will play its last game in the Metrodome. The Gophers move into the new TCF Bank Stadium in 2009.
This Saturday, the Big Ten Network will televise the Indiana-Penn State and Purdue-Iowa games at noon ET. Both games will be available in HD.
