YOUR BIG TEN FAN PET CHAMPION: IOWA'S KODA!

Our congratulations go out to Koda, this Big Ten Fan Pet pictured above. Koda's picture was voted the favorite in our first annual Big Ten Fan Pet bracket.

It wasn't easy. We posted 64 photos several weeks ago and let our readers and viewers vote through the bracket. Three Iowa pets advanced to our final four slots and two Hawkeye pets - Koda and a one-eye cat named Peaches - faced off in the championship round for an all-Iowa finale.

We suspect Koda had a lot of fans out there since the final round of voting wasn't very close. Koda walked away with 94 percent of the vote.

That's just the raw power of a photo of a cute dog in a football jersey. Don't worry, Peaches. There's always next year.
