We ask, you answer.

Every fan comes across an athlete that makes them say, "I wish we had him on our squad."

Who is the one Big Ten standout athlete you've seen impress you the most who wasn't on your school's team?

Tell us on Twitter.  Your responses so far:

@psukardi
best player to not play at PSU...James Hardy, he simply torched PSU

@djmontag
Mangold (Nick?), center on tOSU's football team a couple years ago. Perfect snaps in the shotgun every time.

@cdbarker
A tough call, but Tim Dwight's effort for Iowa in 1997 has always stuck in my mind.

@jtannenwald
Dee Brown, but I haven't been watching for as long as @jppalm has.

@jbrons
troy smith haunts my dreams (especially vs Michigan in 2006). brad banks in 2002 was incredible as well.

@jppalm
No question - Magic Johnson.

@DTGeorge Disliked him when he played but Eric Gordon was sick. He had all the moves and he showed he can play at the next level.

@stevemco
It pains me to say, but Troy Smith had Michigan's #. 1151 total yards in 3 games, all W's.  Only buckeye qb 2 win 3 straight.

@cdaschman Charles Woodson.

@xanderer In person? Gotta be Simeon Rice.

@nateerickson When he played against MSU, Dee Brown was unstoppable. Always a class act, too. One of my favorite B10 players.

@Dweeze Magic Johnson, with Drew Brees as the runner-up.
